Day 44: High School Band Festival

Dear Fabulous Spouse,

Tonight was the High School Band Festival.  I put the music on Facebook (as I have not yet figured out how to embed it in a post).

Translation: Three activities, one child, one choice.

Today it was Oldest Child who was overscheduled.  He had his regular CCD class on the schedule.  However, it was also was 3^rd Quarter Sports night and the High School Band Festival.  Oldest Child had no problem choosing Band.  One, because he loves it, and two, because it affects his grade.

So, after racing home from wrestling to shower, scarf down some supper, and change, we all headed out to hear some music!  It was fun listening to Oldest child compare the bands.  He really liked the High School conductor who MC’d the event.  There will be no convincing needed to get him to continue into band in the fall.
